VN-Index sees choppy trading before closing higher (VN-Index +0.48%)

- The VN-Index opened above the reference level but soon turned choppy.
- During the morning session, the market edged down, mainly weighed by Vingroup-related stocks. Meanwhile, Securities was the strongest-performing sector, with gains broad-based across most stocks, namely VIX (+1.10%), SSI (+0.72%), and LPS (+3.92%).
- In the afternoon session, the market reversed as blue-chip stocks recovered, helping the VN-Index return to positive territory. VIC (+1.88%) led the rebound, while BSR (+2.66%), GAS (+1.93%), and several banking stocks also strengthened.
- Market breadth ended with 152 advancers, 158 decliners, and 61 unchanged stocks.
- Market turnover decreased by 17.30% from the previous session to VND 14,185 billion. The VN-Index closed at 1,830.44 points (+0.48%).

- BSR (+2.66%), GAS (+1.93%), VIC (+1.88%) were the top gainers.

- DGW (+0.36%) renewed its distribution partnership with Apple in Vietnam, while expanding the relationship beyond hardware distribution into education technology solutions as an Apple Education Solution Provider.
- DatVietVAC (DVV) saw strong demand for its IPO, with more than 1,700 investors registering for shares and total subscriptions exceeding the 11.15mn shares offered.
- Foreign investors recorded net sold of VND 365.37 billion. There were no individual stocks recording particularly notable net buying or selling.
