• VN-Index came under notable selling pressure from the ATO session, driven by large-cap stocks in sectors such as Financials and Real Estate.
• The decline gradually narrowed toward the end of the morning session as buying demand returned.
• The market regained positive momentum in the afternoon session, with most sectors advancing and Securities stocks leading the recovery.
• Market breadth ended with 195 advancers, 128 decliners, and 53 unchanged stocks.
• Market liquidity continued to increase, rising 31.5% from the previous trading session to VND 19.2 trillion. VN-Index closed at 1,680.62 points (+0.70%).

• The basket recorded 21 advancers, 7 decliners, and 2 unchanged stocks.
• SSI (+4.55%), HPG (+3.19%), and MWG (+3.00%) led the gainers.
• VJC (-2.06%) and SAB (-1.03%) were the two most notable decliners.
Sectors and stocks daily highlights
• EVF (-1.67%) reported cumulative pre-tax profit of VND 699 billion in the first half of 2026, up 16.9% year on year and completing 52.8% of its full-year target.
• MCH (+1.02%) recorded revenue and net profit of VND 7.165 trillion and VND 1.471 trillion, respectively, in the second quarter of 2026, representing year-on-year increases of 14.2% and 10.9%.
• Foreign investors recorded net selling of VND 1.986 trillion today, with selling concentrated in VHM (+0.69%). On the buying side, HPG (+3.19%) recorded the most significant net inflow.
