Customers who would like to open a Securities Trading Account, please follow the instructions below:

Procedures in details:

Step 1:

Domestic Individuals:

To open securities trading account, please kindly choose one of these methods:

1. 1. Download JSI One application from App Store/Google Play. Select “Open account” and follow the instructions on the app.
   2. Bring valid ID/ Citizen ID Card to Japan Securities Co., Ltd. at: 7th Floor, Tower 1, Capital Place Building, 29 Lieu Giai Street, Ngoc Ha Ward, Hanoi.
   3. Provide required information in the “Account Opening Request Form_ Domestic Individual” and send the form to jsi@japan-sec.vn. Afterwards, JSI’s staff will contact and guide customer through the procedures for opening a securities trading account.

Domestic Institutions:

Please kindly send an email to Japan Securities Co., Ltd. at: jsi@japan-sec.vn to get guidance from JSI’s staff on the necessary procedures to open a securities trading account.

Foreign investors:

Please kindly send an email to Japan Securities Co., Ltd. at: jsi@japan-sec.vn to get guidance from JSI’s staff on the necessary procedures to open a securities trading account.

Step 2:

After reviewing account opening forms provided by JSI, please kindly sign and seal (for institutional investors) on those documents as instructed.

Step 3:

After completing the documentation:

For clients who open accounts at JSI’s counter, please hand over the complete documents to JSI’s staff.

For clients who open accounts via JSI One application, JSI automatically receives the documents once the client completes the process in the mobile app.

For clients who do not visit JSI in person and fill out the Account Opening Request form (except those opening an account via the mobile application), please send the complete account opening documents to JSI at the following mailing address:

Step 4:

Upon receiving of completed and valid documents, JSI’s staff will carry out the opening procedures with the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation, account opening bank (if any) to activate the account. After completing account opening procedure, JSI will inform clients about the account number, transaction password; transfer to clients 01 copy of contract and assisting customers on trading method and services using at JSI.
