VN-Index traded sideways (VN-Index +0.60%)
• VN-Index opened higher, supported by gains in Vingroup-related stocks and the banking sector.
• The upward momentum gradually eased, although market attention remained concentrated on banks, securities firms, and Vingroup-related stocks.
• Attempts to regain momentum were unsuccessful, and trading activity became more subdued in the afternoon session, reflecting investors’ hesitant sentiment.
• Market breadth tilted toward decliners, with 99 advancers, 210 decliners, and 61 unchanged stocks.
• Market liquidity more than doubled compared to the previous session, reaching nearly VND 31 trillion. The VN-Index closed at 1,869.04 points (+0.60%).

VN30 showed clear divergence (VN30 +0.76%)
• The basket recorded 13 gainers, 13 decliners, and 4 unchanged stocks.
• LPB (+6.91%) hit its ceiling price following news regarding a new shareholder acquiring more than a 1% stake in the bank.
• On the downside, BSR (-4.92%), GAS (-3.43%), and VRE (-2.93%) posted notable losses.

Sectors and stocks daily highlights
• HPG (-1.27%) participated in the establishment of Song Hau Offshore Wind Power JSC, with charter capital of VND 2 trillion. The company will operate in renewable energy generation, including wind and solar power.
• BID (+0.47%) took part in the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement on the operation of Vietnam’s domestic carbon exchange, alongside regulatory authorities and market participants involved in developing the carbon trading platform.
• Foreign investors recorded net buying of VND 1,507 billion today, primarily concentrated in VIC (+4.19%). On the selling side, HPG (-1.27%) was the most heavily net sold stock.
