• Selling pressure persisted early in the session, with declines spreading across the Financials, Real Estate, Consumer, and Basic Materials sectors.
• Buying interest emerged in the afternoon, reversing the earlier losses and gradually lifting the index back above the reference level.
• Market breadth ended the session with 191 advancers, 113 decliners, and 54 unchanged stocks.
• Market liquidity declined 34.4% from the previous session to VND 14.3 trillion. The VN-Index closed at 1,806.63 points (+0.34%).
VN30 recovered amid market divergence (VN30 +0.32%)
• The basket recorded 19 gainers, 10 decliners, and 1 unchanged stock.
• BSR (+5.63%), GAS (+4.11%), and PLX (+3.52%) led the recovery.
• On the downside, VHM (-1.54%), VPL (-1.33%), and VRE (-1.16%) posted the largest declines.
Sectors and stocks daily highlights
• HDB (+0.37%) received its inaugural credit rating from Fitch Ratings. HDBank was assigned a BB- Long-Term Issuer Default Rating with a Stable outlook.
• Asia America Industry JSC unveiled plans for an initial public offering of 16.1 million shares at a starting price of VND 48,900 per share. Following the IPO, the company is expected to have a market capitalization of VND 7.851 trillion and aims to list on HOSE in October 2026 under the proposed ticker AMY.
• Foreign investors recorded net selling of VND 175 billion. Neither the net buying nor net selling side saw any stock with notable transaction value.
