VN-Index gains on large-cap support (VN-Index +1.11%)

    • The VN-Index opened flat today amid mixed buying and selling pressure.
    • The morning session showed solid performance, driven by broad-based gains across both small-cap and large-cap stocks.
    • The afternoon session was weighed down by soft performance in mid- and small-cap stocks, even as VIC (+3.36%) expanded its gains.
    • Market breadth ended with 160 advancers, 154 decliners, and 55 unchanged stocks.
    • Market liquidity decreased 12.5% from the previous session to VND 14.0 trillion.The VN-Index closed at 1,793.18 points (+1.11%).

VN30 recorded positive performance (VN30 +0.72%)

    • The basket recorded 20 gainers, 7 decliners, and 3 unchanged stocks.
    • Prominent gainers included VIC (+3.36%), GAS (+3.23%), GVR (+2.71%), and VHM (+2.36%), which rose significantly.
    • Conversely, tickers such as TCX (-0.74%) and FPT (-0.56%) declined.

Sectors and stocks daily highlights

    • VIC (+3.36%) rose as its subsidiary VinSpace signed a satellite launch contract with SpaceX for Q2 2027. In addition, VinMetal announced plans to construct a VND 80 trillion steel plant in Ha Tinh Province, alongside a logo update to mark its 33rd anniversary.
    • F88 (+1.51%) advanced following news that Mekong Capital CEO Mr. Freund announced his resignation from the Board of Directors. It was also revealed that the company raised approximately VND 782 billion in its public offering, about half of its target.
    • Foreign investors recorded a net buying value of VND 254.3 billion. VIC (+3.36%), VIX (+0.70%), and SSI (-0.84%) saw the strongest net buying interest, while no notable stocks faced significant net selling pressure.
